The 2nd Career Guidance Session in the context of the RESTART Project „Reinforce entrepreneurial and digital skills of students and teachers to modernize higher education in MOLDOVA” (No. 585353-EPP-1-2017-1-EN-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) was organized on February 6th 2019 at the Moldova State University, involving 31 participants: 10 students, 8 teachers and 13 employers from different type of organisations.
Aim of the orientation session was to support the students enrolled in the modernized courses of the master “Business Administration”, in their transition to professional life.
As speakers in the second orientation session participated experts from the European universities – Dr. Beatrice Leustean of the University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB) and Dr. Radovan Drab, Technical University of Kosice (TUKE). Dr. Beartice Leustean mentioned the importance of personal development and self-knowledge for career development. Good practices in the field of career guidance of students at the Slovak university were presented by Dr. Radovan DRAB. Within this event, the Master of “Human resources management” together with business representatives discussed issues related to the competitiveness of young specialists in the labor market, successful employment, development and professional growth.
Conclusions and proposals made during the discussions will materialize in 10 career guidance plans developed by master students.
